Molehill is officially back in Chicago after a very successful trip to the Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA! We met a lot of very cool people, bands, producers, etc. We also had a great turnout for our showcase on Friday night, and we want to thank everybody who came out to make it all possible!

We will definitely have to get back to Harrisburg sooner rather than later.

So thanks again everybody for your support, and we can’t wait to see you at the next Molehill show!

We have a lot of exciting shows on the horizon!

First, we were just offered a show with very short notice for THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11th at the Beat Kitchen, opening for nationally-touring act The Elms! This should be a really fun show, so if you’re free on a Thursday night you should come out!

Then, the following day, we will be playing at Wilmot Mountain, just north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border.

2 weeks later we are extremely excited to be featured in the MILLENIUM MUSIC CONFERENCE in Harrisburg, PA!! This is a really cool conference/music festival… 250 bands play in 3 days! we will be playing at the Appalachian Brewing Company on Friday, Feb. 19th at 10pm.

And that’s not all! we will be playing at the Old Rock House in St. Louis on March 20th, the Cubby Bear in Chicago on March 27th, and maybe, just maybe making a trip to Colorado in April!

Wow what a fantastic start to 2010!! We had an AMAZING 3-night East Coast trip in Harrisburg, Philly and NYC, with huge crowds coming out for every show, and then we just had some very successful shows in Libertyville and Chicago as well!!

THANK YOU to everybody who came out and continues to come out to support us! We would be lost without you!

Next show – this Saturday, Jan. 23rd at the Cowboy Monkey in Champaign! – a trip back to the formative years of Molehill!

and then we will be returning to Harrisburg, PA for the Millenium Music Conference in February!

The Molehill train keeps a-rollin’!  We just got our new drummer – Devin Staples (pictures and bio to come soon), we had a GREAT summer playing in Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, and D.C., and we just played 3 fantastic shows at Uncommon Ground, Murphy’s in Forest Park, and the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everybody who keeps coming out to our shows!  It’s only because of our incredibly loyal and supportive fans and friends that we keep getting these great gigs, so I can’t thank you all enough!

We have some big big shows on the horizon:  October 16th we are headlining at Subterranean in Chicago, October 31st we are playing at Cicero’s in St. Louis, and then November 28th we will be playing at Joe’s on Weed St. in Chicago!

So mark those dates in your calendars, and bring some friends to the next MOLEHILL SHOW!!!

We also played the Chicago Rock N Roll Half Marathon – which was so fun. Nothing like playing in front of 17,000 people just down the street from the Sears Tower! That is… unless you’re playing the main stage at Lollapalooza in front of 50,000 people with the whole Chicago skyline as a backdrop… maybe one day!

Anyway, thank you SO MUCH to everybody who’s been coming out to see Molehill this summer, no matter where that might have been!
